Corum - Golden Bridge and Miss Golden Bridge

Golden Bridge and Miss Golden Bridge

Just in time for the festive season, Corum released two new versions of its Golden Bridge with a new “snow” setting. Made exclusively of diamonds, the snow setting involves arranging a random number of diamonds of all sizes in such a way that together, they cover up the entirety of the metal. It is a high-level jewellery practice for two reasons.

Louis Moinet - Two more Design Awards

Two more Design Awards

Skylink celebrates the cosmonaut that changed the face of the globe, in 1975 at a time when the world was in the throes of the Cold War. At 7.20pm on July 17, 1975, two spaceships were docked in space; only the hatch of Soyuz 19 separated Alexey Leonov from Apollo. In opening the hatchway, he also opened up a new world of peace and cooperation; his first interstellar handshake with Commander Thomas Stafford was an unforgettable moment.

Girard-Perregaux - Three new Cat's Eye watches

Trois nouvelles Cat's Eye
Trois nouvelles Cat's Eye

The depth of the Cat’s Eye Majestic, Celestial and Tourbillon's aventurine glass dial irresistibly evokes the Island of Murano. A place that gave rise to masterpieces that were to experience extraordinary destinies in powerful families and royal courts. Air, water and fire are transformed in Murano, by means of preciously safeguarded trade secrets. The aventurine glass (also known as goldstone) was born in the 18th century from mishandling by a glassmaker who accidentally ("all’avventura") spilled copper filings into the traditional mixture of silica, soda and incandescent lime. Watchmaker Loïc has been trained by on the Rolex base calibres as well as the Daytona chronograph movement and has also attended exacting training courses at Patek Philippe. Armin Strom - Masterpiece Dual Time Resonance

At 59mm wide, Armin Strom’s new Dual Time Resonance is anything but discreet. In its latest configuration, the brand’s revolutionary resonance clutch spring connects two movements powering two separate time zones. There is no need for a seconds hand, since the fact that the two movements are beating in resonance means that they are perfectly synchronized. Instead, the two gauges at 6 o’clock on each subdial show the power reserve for each movement and the central subdial has a handy 24-hour scale.
